lost wisdom

okay, finals are killing me, the mold in my house is killing me,  and being ill for too long is well... you get the point. time to be thankful for something(s)

• Halcyonaire show with Railcars tomorrow at Bottom of the Hill. Drone on Dude. Should be dope
• New tattoo is ill, I love it. I know that's a little narcissistic but whatever.
• We (Halcyonaire) will be recording at Tiny Telephone in March. We went and check it out the other day and the place is amazing. From reverb units the as wide as I am tall, a sound board console to rule all others and more things that even my geeked out mind couldn't grasp. Plus, John Vanderslice was a sweet dude.
• I have a wonderful family and great friends, both near and far. 
  

Now back to type. Oh, and I guess in response to my residence killing me, we are moving out as of the 30th of November. BooYah! (If you have a place you know of close to BART in either end of the bay let me know!)

On another note, I was doing some research for a class and ran across Frank Lloyd Wright. Wow, this guy was amazing. His synthesis of structure and environment is truly inspiring.

school must be back in full swing. it is almost four am and i am nearly ready for bed. my roommates are even calling me "bodoni" because that's all i have on my mind half the days. if you don't know what i am talking about it's okay, you're not a type nerd. to get my mind of things i was designing for clark, brandon, and drew's new band "the american sound" here are a couple cover ideas i had.

i am currently trying to finish the blue heron(ca) artwork i should already have done. but, it is coming along well today, i stayed in tonight to finish it. here is a peek at white kids and their wacky "art"

so it's been a while. hmm... i just had a thanksgiving in my head but somehow have seemed to have lost it. i mean there is the usual thankfulness of having the friends i do. i am thankful that the show bros. haclyonaire played last friday in santa cruz went well, not so thankful about myself later that night, and again thankful i still have good friends that somehow love me. i am thankful for the many hours i have been getting at work recently. i can actually pay my bills now! i've been checking out a bunch of new design, and old design for that matter, it's been really good. chekcing out a bunch of good design books, magazines, and blogs/websites. that's all for now, maybe i'll check back in soon...
