okay, so i am going to try and recount a little bit of what has been going on. i just last friday go finished with the first week of tracking for the new halcyonaire record we're making. we were holed up in john vanderslice's wonderful tiny telephone studio with ian pellicci engineering it for us. it was a completely awesome experience, the studio was great, ian was great, and the mexican food was great...i kept far better track of the happenings in a real journal that may or may not find their way onto this here blog. i just thought i may share a few photos of the first day here right now...
early in the morning we headed over to nick's place to pack up his van and haul it all across the bridge.
saw some words on a buildings on the way over
the front door.
we were welcomed by this sweet wall of amps and ian's bike.
nick was quick to set up his drums, he ended up using a normal rack tom that was blue later, but this set up looks ill.
